Unity version 2019.4.21f1(LTS) was suggested and I don't see any reason not to go with that. If nobody has any objections then we should all install the engine. There are a lot of resources to learn Unity from zero but in my opinion the Roll A Ball tutorial is the best way to get started: learn.unity.com/project/roll-a-ballEveryone should try to get that done so we are all starting from at least that level. If anyone has trouble with installing or the tutorial message me and we can work through it together. edit: for the first project I think a webgl build would be best so we could host on itch.io so when you install make sure to add the "webgl target" or whatever the hell unity calls it

Completed tutorial.
If others are going familiarize themselves with Unity in this way, it might be an idea to try collectively building off it to see what we can come up with.
Iterating Marble Madness clones may not be everyone's idea of the first game they wanted to make, but it's a thought.
