Posting topics here so I remember them tomorrow. - Project timeframe - posted first week of march, game released 2nd week of july - 18 weeks
- resources - weekly meetings between 2-5 hours usually 3-4, my dev time averaged to less than 2 hours a week, at most 5 hours for a couple of weeks
- project results - discussion
- what went well
collaboration/communication division of labor tool knowledge didnt clobber each other's changes enemy AI
- what could have gone better
initial planning!! (we didn't) requiring "smart" ai opponents was probably more work than we should have taken on for the first project
better engagement with other prospective team members comms fragmented until we were down to 2 devs acp - needs to learn git need to figure out more reliable playtesting better parameterized gameplay properties for easier internal testing to find "sweet spots" someone who knows art and design would be nice going 2.5d ended up not being a great idea learn more about game promotion and distribution need analytics - for both user tracking and gameplay intelligence
